A Utah immigration consultant bond is required of non-attorney individuals who assist or advise on immigration matters. The Utah Division of Consumer Protection requires immigration consultants to be bonded as part of the licensing process. A $50,000 immigration consultant bond for a one-year term can be purchased for $1,000.
